Streats was an English broadsheet daily newspaper in Singapore. a subsidiary of Singapore Press Holdings was launched on 10 November 2000 and ceased publishing on 1 January 2005. It was renamed as TODAY.
History
Streats was launched on Friday, 10 November 2000 is an English broadsheet daily newspaper in Singapore a subsidiary of Singapore Press Holdings (SPH).
On Friday, 31 December 2004, Streats was merged into the daily news as a result of SPH and MediaCorp merging free-to-air terrestrial television and newspaper operations.
It ceased publishing on Saturday, 1 January 2005 after 4 years 3-months and was renamed to become TODAY, a subsidiary of MediaCorp Press & member of MediaCorp a print media arm.

Streats is a Singaporean free-to-air terrestrial television channel such: MediaCorp TV (5th Frequency and 8th Frequency), MediaCorp News (Channel NewsAsia) & MediaCorp TV12 (Central and Suria).
Later in 2001, SportCity to become CityTV and CityTV ceased transmission in January 2002.
