Streptomyces arenae is a bacterium species from the genus of Streptomyces which has been isolated from soil from Illinois in the USA.[3][1][4] Streptomyces arenae produces pentalenolactone, 2,5-dihydrophenylalanine, naphthocyclinone and arenaemycine.[5][6][7][8][9]
