Streptomyces platensis is a bacterium species from the genus of Streptomyces which has been isolated from soil.[3][1][4] Streptomyces platensis produces oxytetracycline, platensimycin, migrastatin, isomigrastatin, platencin, dorrigocin A, dorrigocin B and terramycine.[4][5][6][7][8][9][10]
