Student Day (Korean: í•™ìƒì˜ ë‚ ) is the anniversary of the Student Independence Movement against Japanese rule of Korea on 1929 in Gwangju.
In 1953, the National Assembly of South Korea announced the establishment of the ‘Student Day’, celebrated on annually 3 November. In 2006, changed the day name to Student Independence Movement Day (Korean: í•™ìƒë…ë¦½ìš´ë™ ê¸°ë…ì¼).
