Style.com is a fashion website. It was formerly the online site for the fashion magazine Vogue and W magazine, featuring online versions of some of the magazine's content as well as Internet-exclusive material such as event photographs and style-related articles, before Vogue developed its own website.
Style.com contains fashion news reporting, trend reports, and extensive galleries of fashion-show photos,[2] among other content. The website also includes a red carpet watch for viewing the latest photos of celebrities on the red carpet or at parties. The editorial team includes Editor-in-Chief Dirk Standen, Executive Editor Nicole Phelps, Deputy Editor Noah Johnson, Fashion Market Director Rachael Wang, Senior Beauty Amber Kallor, and Creative Director Sean Brown.[1] According to Alexa Internet, it is the most-visited women's fashion magazine site online.[3] As of April 2007, its overall Alexa rank was 1,653.[4]
In October 2010, Style.com moved from Condé Nast to the Fairchild Fashion Group.
In October 2012 a bilingual sister website, Style.com/Arabia was launched in the Middle East in English and Arabic. The site marks the first Condé Nast Publications Inc. fashion and beauty title to have a presence in the Middle East.[5]
In April 2015, it was announced that Style.com would fold the site into Vogue.com and use the URL to launch a new e-commerce venture.
As of March 2016, the URL still auto-redirects to http://www.vogue.com/fashion-shows/.
