Subodh College (or S. S. Jain Subodh P. G. College) is one of the oldest college in Jaipur, Rajasthan which was established in 1954 managed under Shri Shwetamber Sthanakwasi Jain Society with an objective to provide education at college level providing under graduate courses, post graduate courses and professional courses.
About
The college was established in 1954 by S.S. Jain Subodh Shiksha Samiti. It offers undergraduate and post graduate courses. The college is the first college of Rajasthan granted accreditation of 'A' grade by UGC-NAAC. The state government designated this college as Model College of Rajasthan in 2007. According to India Today AC NIELSEN-ORG-Marg Survey of Colleges Subodh College was ranked as number 3 college of Jaipur. The main campus of the college is near Ram Bagh Circle. It has a stadium, the only private college of Rajasthan having its own stadium with pavilion facility of 2,000 spectators.

History
Up to the session 1992-93, it was a degree college but since 1993-94 session, post-graduate classes have been started. The postgraduate education facility is available in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Computer Applications, Information Technology, EAFM (Commerce), Political Science, Environmental Science and Geography subjects and we are also planning to introduce P.G. Courses in Accountancy & Business Statistics (ABST) from the next session. The college believes in the importance of practical education. Therefore, soon after 2001, various vocational courses like Computer Application, Tourism and Travel Management, Advertising Sales Promotion and Sales Management' were introduced in addition to usual graduation courses. Vishal Jain from Bikaner was the first student's body president who elected from the MCA stream in 2002. The college has MCA, BCA, M.Sc.IT and PGDCA Computer courses.

College has its own Library, Labs, Auditorium, Gymkhana, Canteen, Bank, Classrooms, Hostel and Transportation.
Placement Cell
The Placement Cell provides career guidance and opportunities in various sectors and also provides direction to the students in shaping their future. ICICI Bank has tied up with college to provide job opportunities to graduate students in banking sectors. GENPACT has also selected for knowledge center which provides job opportunities in BPO sector. MCA, M.Sc. (IT) students are getting project training by top leading MNC's. MCA, M.Sc.(IT) students are also recruited by top leading MNC's. Placement Cell is also providing career opportunities for B.Sc., B.Com. and B.A. Students.
