The Suffield Historic District is a historic district located in the town center of Suffield, Connecticut. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979[1] and is part of a larger local historic district. The district runs along North and South Main Street from Muddy Brook to north of Mapleton Avenue.

According to its 1979 nomination, it includes "a remarkable display of American building styles from early 18th century to mid-20th century", with Colonial, Georgian, Federal, Greek Revival, Italianate, Romanesque Revival, Second Empire, Beaux Arts, Colonial Revival, Late Victorian and Modern architecture among its 144 contributing buildings. The nomination asserted "The ambience of Suffield's Main Street arises from its history as a typical New England village, modified by tobacco affluence, the presence of Suffield Academy and redevelopment in the center, and the absence of urban or industrial development. The general level of architectural quality has been raised by the work of several good architects in the town, and the documentation of the history of the town and its properties is unusually complete."[2]:17

The 1762-built Hatheway House, NRHP-listed in 1975, is included in the district.[1]
