Early background and personal life

Sukhdeep Sukh (Punjabi: ਸੁਖਦੀਪ ਸੁਖ ) (14 November 1983 – present) is a budding young actor of Indian origin. His fame lies majorly in Punjabi movies. A qualified management professional, Sukhdeep found his real identity in the entertainment business. Presently based in Chandigarh, Sukhdeep originally hails from Malout, Punjab. Born in a modest Punjabi business family, Sukhdeep started in acting career after identifying himself with the standard industry norms, and has done well all through.

Career

Even after being a qualified management professional (MBA in marketing) from Punjab Technical University in the year 2002, Sukhdeep realised his actual prowess and started his career in modelling immediately after formal education. Looked up to always for being a child prodigy, Sukhdeep used to entertain the crowd quite effortlessly. After he had family support and care, the journey became a bit comfortable, but his formidable attitude towards his dreams finally helped him realise them too. The Theatre teacher from his high school plays an imperative role in shaping his initial and basic acting skill-set.

After a decade of stint in modelling and theatre, Sukhdeep started pursuing films seriously to showcase his cinematic fortitude. He stood the test of time and now has four-five successful films in his booty. Sukhdeep started as the lead character in his debut movie "Kaum De Heere", by Raj Kakra.

Filmography

Sukhdeep has one released film to his credit. First, "Kaum De Heere" (Nation's Hero) released in August 2014 was banned in India but released all over the world and did Re 50 million revenue generation. He played the character of Satwant Singh. The film hogged more attention due to its ban in the home country, as it enraged the government by touching the sensitive issue of Indira Gandhi assassination.

Theatre and other work

As mentioned earlier, Sukhdeep has had a quality theatre stretch in his early career. Some of his notable works are: Mull di Tiwi, Tamasha-e-Hindustan, Anne Kane.
