Sun is the second stand-alone production album created by Thomas J. Bergersen from Two Steps from Hell, released on September 30, 2014.[1] The release contains 16 tracks,[2] featuring vocal performances by Merethe Soltvedt, Molly Conole and other vocalists. The album cover and artwork are designed by Bergersen himself.[3] The album was announced for pre-order on September 9 across iTunes, Amazon, and CD Baby,[4] with the tracks "Empire of Angels,"[5] "Final Frontier,"[6] and "Starchild"[7] made available on iTunes prior to the full release.[8] In addition, a signed limited deluxe edition CD version has been scheduled for somewhere in 2016, set to include additional music, notes on each track written by Thomas, and a large-size poster featuring his artwork.[9]

The tracks from Two Steps from Hell are frequently used in film trailers and other promotional materials.
- Final Frontier was used in the third trailer for Interstellar.
- Creation of Earth was used in the third trailer for Tomorrowland.
- New Life was used in the second trailer for Pan, also in the main theme of the 41th anniversary video of El Sistema de orquestas from Venezuela.
- Dragonland and Our Destiny were used in Dragon Blade.
Final Frontier was played at Dreamhack Cluj Napoca [11]
