Sunita Mani is an American dancer, model and stand-up comedian. She is best known for her dance performances in music videos, films and television.[1]
Life and career
Mani was born in the United States. She attended Emerson College in Boston, MA where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in writing, literature, and publishing. While studying, Mani started her career as a stand-up comedian. After graduating in 2008 she joined the Upright Citizens Brigade and received training in improvisational comedy for three years. Mani then joined the Cocoon Central Dance Team where she worked as a dancer and choreographer. Mani began her career as an actress by appearing in Writer’s Block, an MTV web TV pilot, and also in commercials for Burger King and Levi’s.[2] She gained public recognition by her dance performance in music video of the song “Turn Down for What” which was released in December 2013. Mani also appeared in drama–thriller television series Mr. Robot as Trenton.[3]
