SuperShuttle International, Inc. is a private ground transportation company providing on demand transportation options in major cities in the United States, UK, France,[1] and Mexico. It is a part of the On-Demand division of Transdev.

Services

SuperShuttle International, Inc. provides the following ground transportation services: airport shuttles; taxi / cab service; private van, sedan, SUV, and coach charters; group transportation; and airline employee transport.

SuperShuttle or “Blue Van” service is a door-to-door, shared ride airport shuttle service. The shared-ride service groups customers together with other customers going the same direction,[2] which reduces emissions and the number of total cars on the road. SuperShuttle services are primarily provided by Franchise Owner Operators via a franchising agreement. Operations began in 1983 in Los Angeles, Calif. in anticipation of a rise in tourist demand during the 1984 Summer Olympics. Currently, SuperShuttle serves 33 cities and 35 United States Airports, as well as airports in France, Mexico, and the United Kingdom, and transports over 8 million customers annually.

ExecuCar service is a private ground transportation service. The fleet consists of over 500 luxury vehicles, serving 53 airports and 43 major cities in the United States.[3] Services are primarily provided by vehicles independently owned and operated by Independent Contractors through private contract.If you want VIP experience with 24-hour live support and insured driver then use their Black car service called as ExecuCar. Clean Energy

Compressed Natural Gas Fleet

In 2010, the company contracted with Clean Energy to provide compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling services to select markets, including Phoenix, San Francisco, and Denver.[5]

Propane Fleet

In 2012, the Fort Collins, Colo. location partnered with Roush CleanTech to grow their propane fleet, making it the cleanest shared-ride transportation provider in Fort Collins.[6]

Partnerships

In January 2012, the US Government Service Administration awarded a transportation contract to the On-Demand division of Veolia Transportation for the transportation of government employees.[7]

Many locations work with local airports to provide emergency transportation for those in need, and some provide tours, such as Hops & Shops[8] and Gangster Tours.[9]

SuperShuttle also works closely with local tourist boards to accommodate large local events and travelers to local destinations, such as Disney Parks.[10]
