Sūrat Ghāfir (Arabic: سورة غافر‎, "The Forgiver" (referring to God)), also known as Sūrat al-Muʼmin (Arabic: سورة المؤمن‎, "The Believer"), is the 40th sura of the Qur'an with 85 ayat.

Ghafir also known as watchman or sentry (see Al-Ghafir).
