Susan P. Casteras
Susan P. Casteras is a professor of the history of art at the University of Washington.[1] Casteras received her undergraduate degree from Vassar College and her doctorate from Yale University.[2] Casteras was curator of paintings and sculpture, Yale Center for British Art, 1977-1996, and lecturer, History of Art Department, 1978 to 1996. Casteras is a specialist in Victorian art, particularly Pre-Raphaelitism.[2]
Casteras's The Grosvenor Gallery: A Palace of Art in Victorian England (1996) was the first detailed study of the Grosvenor Gallery.[3]
