At the 2015 Andalusian Parliamentary Election, her party retained the same number of seats as prior to the election however their electoral partner, the United Left lost most of their seats, thus preventing Susana's party from gaining a majority in the legislature. The new centrist party, Citizens won 9 seats in the election. As Susana's party didn't win an absolute majority, they needed another party to reach the 55 seats needed for a majority.
