Swedish Taxpayers' Association
The Swedish Taxpayers' Association (Skattebetalarnas förening) is an association and taxpayers union in Sweden which advocates low taxes and efficiency in the public sector.[1] Chairman of the board (since 2007) is Dick Kling and the president (since 2013) is Joacim Olsson.
The Swedish Taxpayers' Association is a member of the European Taxpayers' Association.[2]
History
The Swedish Taxpayers' Association was founded in 1921 on the initiative of Marcus Wallenberg. It grew quickly to 40,000 members in 1925, and served as the model for similar organisations in Denmark, Finland and Norway.[3]
