The men's 200 metre breaststroke competition of the swimming events at the 1959 Pan American Games took place on 31 August (preliminaires)[1][2] and 2 September (finals).[3] The last Pan American Games champion was Héctor Domínguez of Argentina.[4][5][6][7][8][9]
