The Sydney Society for Conservation Biology,[4] founded in 2013, is a local chapter of the non-profit Society for Conservation Biology (SCB).[5][6] Located in Sydney, Australia, it is currently one of three chapters within the Oceania Section of SCB.[7]
Mission & Role
The mission of the Sydney Society for Conservation Biology is "to advance the science and practice of conserving the biological diversity of the greater Sydney region and beyond".[8]
The Sydney chapter is associated with the SCB Oceania section,[9] and offers local conservation projects, volunteer research opportunities, a policy group and seminars & talks on various topics in conservation biology.[10][11]
