Syed Mohammad Abul Faiz
Dr. Syed Mohammad Abul Faiz, or SMA Faiz, as he is more widely known, is a former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Dhaka and former chairman of the Public Service Commission of Bangladesh (PSC). He was the twenty-sixth Vice-Chancellor of the largest university in Bangladesh, and held office from 23 September 2002 till 11 January 2009.[1]
Education
Dr. Faiz obtained Bachelors and Masters of Science from the Department of Soil, Water and Environment, University of Dhaka. He also has a Ph.D. from University of Aberdeen.[1]
Teaching career
Dr. Faiz is also a Professor of the Department of Soil, Water and Environment, University of Dhaka.
