Sympis rufibasis is a moth of the Noctuidae family. It is found from the Indo-Australian tropics east to New Guinea, the Solomons and Queensland.
The wingspan is about 50 mm.
The larvae feed on Dimocarpus, Litchi and Nephelium species.
