Synapse Product Development is a new product development (NPD), product design, and technology development consultancy company headquartered in Seattle, Washington, USA, with offices in San Francisco, California and Hong Kong. Synapse offers complete product development consulting from prototype to new product introduction and high-volume manufacturing. Synapse provides electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, software engineering, RF design, program management and global sourcing services.[2] Synapse was co-founded in 2001 by Scott Bright and current CEO, Ross Collins.[3] It is a privately held company.

The firm has contributed to the development of products for many Fortune 500 companies, including AOL, Apple, Disney, GE, Intel, Logitech, Microsoft, Nielsen, Nike, Panasonic, Precor, Philips, Samsung, Starbucks, T-mobile and TomTom.[4]
