Szydłowiec [ʂɨdˈwɔvjɛt͡s] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Mielec, within Mielec County, Subcarpathian Voivodeship, in south-eastern Poland. It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) east of Mielec and 44 km (27 mi) north-west of the regional capital Rzeszów.[1]
