T. J. Syner (born October 13, 1988 ) is an American professional ice hockey player. He is currently playing with the Utah Grizzlies of the ECHL.

Syner attended the University of Massachusetts where he played four seasons (2008-12) of NCAA college hockey with the UMass Minutemen.

On March 14, 2012, Syner joined the Hershey Bears of the AHL,[1] and on June 17, 2013, his contract was extended for him to continue his play with the Bears for the 2013–14 season.[2]

On June 11, 2014, Syner left the Bears organization after two seasons and signed his first European contract, agreeing to a one-year deal with Kallinge-Ronneby IF in the Swedish Hockeyettan (Division 1) on June 11, 2014.[3] Unable to transition to the Swedish lifestyle, Syner alongside teammate Barry Almeida opted to return to North America and sign a one-year ECHL contract with the Utah Grizzlies on September 30, 2014.[4]
