TH Baker is an independent jeweller with over 30 stores throughout the United Kingdom. Established in 1888 by Thomas Henry Baker, with its first store opening in Brierley Hill. The family business is still run by the founder's direct descendants, Phil and Andrew Higgs, who joined the business in 2000 working alongside their father Alan. Since 2009,[1] a partnership with Pandora led to the opening of 16 Pandora stores across the country while the jewellers also opened two Swarovski stores in Watford and Worcester.
Achievements
- In 2013 the company celebrated its 125th anniversary by giving away £125,000 worth of jewellery and watches over the year. In the same year the Higgs brothers Andrew and Phil appeared in Professional Jeweller's Hot 100 list.[2]
- The company rebuilt their websites alongside the digital company Nublue, developers who were praised for their work and in 2015 were nominated as a finalist for E-Commerce Developer of the Year.[3]
