T J Ramini (born 26 May 1975) is a British expatriate actor known for his role as DC Zain Nadir in The Bill.
Career
Ramini attended St Lawrence College Boarding School in Kent. At the age of 19, he moved to Australia, where he appeared in various acting roles.
His other parts include guest appearances in the television series Casualty, The Inspector Lynley Mysteries, 24 and NCIS, as well as the film Batman Begins (2005). He guest-starred in Boston Legal as a prisoner who is wrongfully detained and tortured at Guantanamo Bay, and in Desperate Housewives as Yaniv (in the episode "Mama Spent Money When She Had None").
Ramini is also a screenwriter and has completed the principal photography for his first major film for Universal Studios, titled Get Lucky.
Personal life
Ramini is engaged to Annie McQueen, a singer-songwriter and producer. They reside in Los Angeles, California. A football fan, Ramini is a lifelong Tottenham Hotspur supporter.
