TMA Solutions is a privately owned software outsourcing company of Vietnam, with headquarters in Ho Chi Minh city Vietnam and other offices in Canada, USA, Ireland, Australia. TMA Solutions is one of the largest offshore software solutions providers in Vietnam[1]

History

TMA was founded in 1997[2] with six engineers.[3]
From 1998 to 2004, TMA has three offices with 300 engineers, and new customers from Europe, Australia, Singapore and India. On the list of 15 global companies with “Offshore Software Outsourcing Best Practices” (Aberdeen Group’s report).
In 2005, TMA opened the first oversea office in Canada and became an international company providing software outsourcing. Between 2006 and 2008, TMA opened three new overseas offices in Japan, USA,[4] and Europe. Achieved TL9000 and became Microsoft Gold Certified Partner.
In 2009, TMA opened TMA Mobile Solutions(TMS), and had one new office in Australia. In 2010, TMA opened its first Research & Development (R&D) center called iRDC in Quang Trung Software City in Ho Chi Minh City.[5] In 2011, TMA achieved CMMi Level 5, reached 1,000 employees
In 2012, TMA joined CeBIT exhibition, demonstrating several products in Hanover, Germany.[6] TMA Solutions is a member of Viet Nam Software Association such as VINASA, Hochiminh Computer Association (HCA),etc.[7]
From 2013 to now, TMA known as the 2nd largest software outsourcing provider in Vietnam with 1800 engineers in providing quality software services for many world leading companies from 25 countries.

Business

After more than 17 years of steady growth, TMA Solutions rank the 2nd largest software outsourcing companies in Vietnam manned with 1,800 software engineers, 11 offices (six in Vietnam and five overseas). TMA Solutions acquired CMMI Level 5, TL 9000 and ISO 27001:2005 accreditations.[8] The company operates in several broad service lines:

ICT R&D Centers (iRDC)

In 2010, TMA start to build R&D centers in both Vietnam and Silicon Valley.[9] Since then it has completed development projects in a range of sectors, including healthcare, transportation, biotech and agriculture. To support some of these projects, TMA also launched a big data and analytics division in early 2013.

TMA Training Centers (TTC)

TMA has the most robust system for recruiting and training. Aside from hiring from interns, in 2003 TMA has its own training center (TTC) was established and expanded to provide technical training for over 300 students and more than 230 courses and offered hundreds of seminars and workshops per year. This training center is big pool to recruit the best students to work for TMA (top 5% of candidates in 6000 resume each year). TTC also collaborate with more than 20 universities and colleges in many activities such as internship, Seminars, R&D, Sabbatical, Recruitment.
