Ta Shing Yachts is a boat yacht builder located in Tainan City, Taiwan, starting by the name of Shing Sheng in 1957.[1] From Shing Sheng to TaShing, there are more than 1,200 custom-made boats up to 2015 being built and delivered. In 2016, Ta Shing Yachts rejuvenates the self own-brand Taswell for trawler market, debuting Taswell 60[2] in Taiwan International Boat Show (TIBS) 2016.
TaShing designs and constructs self own-brand Taswell,[3] Tashiba,[4] Shing Sheng, Orion and also OEM for Mason, Baba, Panda, Skye, Mystic and Nordhavn. The style includes wooden and FRP fishing boats, sailboats,[5] and motoryachts.

The founder, CM Juan[7] established Shing Sheng boatyard in 1957, which had operated for at least 20 years during 1930s, and unveiled a new page for Shing Sheng ever since. CM Juan motivated himself building the famous wooden fishing boats to all around Taiwan, and later Shing Sheng became the pioneer not only building the first FRP fishing boat in Taiwan but also improving the FRP boating industry in Taiwan, the TaShing-built FRP fishing boat even dedicated to Panama Government as a special gift from Taiwan. As TaShing established in 1978, CM Juan took his pride in “Quality is TaShing’s life!” urging on the philosophy of delivering the value and dreams as TaShing walking ahead through decades with building thousands of boats.
In March 2006, Tim Juan, son of CM Juan, took his position as president of Ta Shing. Tim grew up in the wooden fishing boat yard as his playground since 1959 (at 4 years old), and since then the seed of passion has been passing on. Following the foot prints of CM Juan, inheriting with the uncompromised insistence on quality is TaShing’s life.

July 4 of 2010, 3 TaShing-build boats cruising from United States (Seattle) to An Ping Harbor in Tainan- Taiwan to meet up with their origin-Ta Shing, so-called GSSR (The Great Siberian Sushi Run)[9] is grouped by Sans Souci (Nordhavn 68), Grey Pearl (Nordhavn 62) and Seabird (Nordhavn 62).
