Tae Jin-ah (Hangul: 태진아; born on April 5, 1953) is the stage name of South Korean veteran trot singer Jo Bang-hun (Cho Bang-hun).[2][3] He is the father of singer Eru (Cho Song-hyon).

In addition to his singing activities, he also hosts a radio program on KBS Happy FM Radio called 태진아의 쇼쇼쇼 (Tae Jin Ah Show Show Show).[4]

He is also the founder of the group of companies that includes Jin-ah Entertainment (진아기획 jin-ah gihoek, his agency); Eru Entertainment (이루기획 ireu gihoek, Eru's agency); and YMC Entertainment (YMC엔터테인먼트 YMC enteoteinmeonteu, the record label of Ailee, Mighty Mouth, and Wheesung which is currently led by his elder son Cho Yu-myung).[5]
