Tahir Sinani (Albanian: Tahir Sinani; Macedonian: Тахир Синани) (6 May 1964 – 29 July 2001) was a leader of Albanian insurgents in Kosovo and Macedonia. During the Kosovo War, he was a commander in the Kosovo Liberation Army. After the war, he was appointed a commander of the Third Operational Zone of the Kosovo Protection Corps. During the Macedonian Conflict in 2001, he was the commander of the 116 Brigade of the NLA.[1]
Sinani was born in Gri, near Bujan, Albania.
He was killed on 29 July 2001 during the conflict in Macedonia, and after the conflict buried in Prizren.[2]
