Tailevu Naitasiri F.C. is a Fijian football team playing in the second division of the Fiji Football Association competitions. It is based in Nausori, which is a town on the island of Viti Levu, and about 20 kilometers north of the capital, Suva. Their home stadium is Ratu Cakobau Park. Their uniform includes sky blue shirt, white shorts and blue socks.[1]
History
The Tailevu Naitasiri Football Association was formed in 1943, under the presidency of G. S. Deo, when some local clubs split from Rewa to form their own association. Tailevu/Naitasiri F.C. performed well in the 1945 IDC, when it was only narrowly drefeated by Suva by 3 goals to 2.
In 1974, Tailevu Naitasiri F.C., was promoted to the first division and showed that it is deserved its position in the first division by reaching the final of the IDC.
t/naitasiri is the current defending champions of the premier division and started there title campaign with a win over levuka at Buckhurst Park
