The Taiwan Provincial Consultative Council (TPCC; Chinese: 臺灣省諮議會; pinyin: Táiwān Shěng Zī Yìhuì) is the council of Taiwan Province of the Republic of China.[2]
History
Taiwan Provincial Consultative Council was originally established on 1 May 1946 as Taiwan Representative Council. It was renamed to Taiwan Temporary Provincial Council in December 1951 and Taiwan Provincial Council in June 1959. It was finally changed to Taiwan Provincial Consultative Council in December 1998.
