Taiwo (a variant form of Taiye)[1] is a name of Yoruba origin meaning "the first twin to taste the world." or the one who comes before Kehinde.[2] Though Taiwo is the firstborn twin, it is believed that Kehinde is the older twin, sending Taiwo in the world first to decide if it is time to be born.
