The Taltson Magmatic Zone is a zone of Paleoproterozoic magmatic rocks in the Canadian Shield, extending from Northern Alberta to the Northwest Territories. The magmatic zone was formed by subduction of oceanic crust along a pre-existing continental margin, creating a continental volcanic arc.
