Tamara Davis, Ph.D, is an Australian astrophysicist. As of 2016 she is Professor, Vice-Chancellor of Research and Teaching Fellow at the University of Queensland,[1] where she has been employed since 2008.[2][3]
She was Australian Institute of Physics Women in Science Lecturer in 2011.[4]
Tamara has also competed on an international level for Australia at Ultimate Frisbee most recently at the World Ultimate Beach Championships, 2015 in Dubai.
Education
Davis completed her Ph.D in astrophysics[3] at the University of New South Wales in 2004.[2] She also has a BSc in physics and a BA in philosophy.[3]
