The Tamil Nadu State Chess Association (TNSCA) is the apex body for the game of chess in Tamil Nadu, India. It was formed on April 26, 1947 with a view to identifying upcoming chess players and mould them into world-class professionals. The association was earlier known as Madras Chess Club. It is affiliated with the All India Chess Federation.[1]

There is an Indian Chess League organized every year in chess.com where different states of India with their teams participate. Tamil Nadu is one of the top teams in ICL. Interested players can join chess.com and Tamil Nadu group there in. Various team Chess Games, Tournaments, Live chess can be played.
