Tampuqucha (Quechua tampu inn, qucha lake,[2] "tampu lake", hispanicized spelling Tambococha) is a lake in Peru located in the Huanuco Region, Lauricocha Province, at the border of the districts Cauri and Jesús. It lies at a height of about 3,800 metres (12,467 ft), between the mountain Pinkuylluq (Pinculloc) in the northwest and Kanchamach'ay (Canchamachay) in the southeast.[1][3]

Tampuqucha is situated near the Inca route known as Qhapaq Ñan and near the archaeological site of Tunsukancha (or Tunsunkancha).
