Tanki X
Tanki X is an upcoming game, made by AlternativaPlatform, that is a spin-off of Tanki Online.[1] According to AlternativaPlatform, it "builds on the huge success of its predecessor", with "drastically improved" graphics, physics and playability.[1] An announcement teaser has been released by AlternativaPlatform on the Tanki X website.[2] The official beta test for Tanki X first opened on February 1st 2016.[3]
History
It was first announced on March 21, 2015, with information about the team deciding to develop a new version of Tanki Online and its graphics based on Unity.[4]
Gameplay
As in Tanki Online, in Tanki X players assemble their tanks from a variety of combinations of guns and hulls, and battle against players in game modes including Solo Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, and Capture the Flag.[3]
Tanki X retains the most popular features of its predecessor,[3] including:
- High-speed gameplay,
- Instant respawns,
- Spawning power-ups for enhanced gameplay,
- Selection of hulls of various speeds and armors, and
- Turrets such as flamethrowers (firebird), freeze guns (freeze), high-caliber shotguns (shaft, thunder, smoky, hammer, railgun etc.), plasma blasters with bouncing projectiles (ricochet) and a machine gun (vulcan).
