Coordinates: 39°55′07″N 44°36′22″E / 39.91861°N 44.60611°E Taperakan (Armenian: Տափերական,also Romanized as Tap’erakan; formerly, Kirov[1]) is a town in the Ararat Province of Armenia. The town used to be named for Sergey Kirov, an early Bolshevik leader.
