Targa is a village in the Punjab province of Pakistan. It is located in Sialkot District at 32°21'50N 74°29'35E with an altitude of 240 metres (790 feet). Its name was found when here there was a mountaion and due to flood all the villages destroy. But this village is safe just because of that mountain. and at that time, people pronounced it "tar gya"(means safe). with the passage of time its officiay name "Targa" .[1]
