Targeting is a 2014 feature film about Mattie Ridgeway, a female veteran of the Afghan-American conflict. It's directed by Tarique Qayumi and produced by Alan De La Rosa. It's co-written by Joey Patterson, Tarique Qayumi and Alan De La Rosa.[1]

Targeting, starring Tajana Prka as Mattie and Bobby Naderi as Baktosh, premiered in June 2014 at the Dances With Films Festival in Los Angeles.[2]

Premise

Targeting is about a Mattie Ridgeway, a troubled Marine, who returns home from the war in Afghanistan believing that she was set up by her translator to have killed a child while in action. She soon finds an Afghan man remarkably like her translator back in her hometown and begins to use her skills as a Special Ops to target the immigrant.

Production

Targeting was shot in San Pedro in January, 2012 in eighteen days.[5]

Fundraising for the post production of Targeting was done via Indiegogo.com.[6]

Release

Targeting premiered in June 2014 at the Dances With Films Festival in Los Angeles.[7]

The film will be released on iTunes on May 19.[8]
