Tata Safari Storme (or Storme) is a SUV manufactured by Tata Motors. The vehicle was unveiled in Jan 2012 during the 11th Auto Expo 2012 and was launched in Oct 2012.[1][2][3][4]

History

Tata Safari Storme was unveiled in Jan 2012 and launched on 17 Oct 2012. It is built on Tata Safari platform and is an upgraded version of Safari. Storme is taller, wider and longer when compared to its predecessor. Although the engine displacement is the same (2,179 cm3), Strome produces more power (10 Bhp) than Tata Safari.[1][2][3]

Variants

Tata Safari Storme comes in four variants, viz LX, EX, VX and VX (4X4). All the variants have the same engine, fuel, output, torque, gearbox and body type (LX is 1855 mm wide) with exception of weight, seating and comfort features.[5]
