Taylor Walker (born November 27, 1992)[2] also better known Tay Walker, is a soul musician and 1/5th of the band The Internet while touring. Taylor performs as a keyboardist and vocalist on the groups critically acclaimed "Purple Naked Ladies" LP[3][4] as well as playing keyboards in the video for "Objects In The Mirror" from the album Watching Movies With The Sound Off by Mac Miller.[5] In 2015 Tay Walker released his first debut album 25 Hours A Day independently.[6]

History

Tay Walker was born in Inglewood, California and eldest of three, having two younger brothers.[7] His mother was a musician who used to sing to him, he began singing in the 3rd or 4th grade singing with his mother. Walkers mother introduced him to Motown and The Funk Brothers.

Influences

Tay Walker list Stevie Wonder and many Motown artist as influences as well as Tyrese Gibson, Michael Jackson, Alicia Keys, Brian McKnight and Jaime Foxx. Walker also listens to a lot of R&B, Jazz, and Neo Soul artist. Such as artists like Phony PPL, Musiq Soulchild and everything from Motown.[8]
