Teamwork.com is a web-based company based in Cork, Ireland, focused on software to support high-performance teams. The three products relate to project-management, customer support, and real-time internal communications. Teamwork.com was founded by Peter Coppinger and Dan Mackey in 2007.[2]
Company history
Coppinger and Mackey founded their company Digital Crew in 2007, focusing on building websites, intranets and custom web-based solutions for clients in Cork, Ireland. Coppinger wanted a software system that would help manage the company, something extremely easy-to-use and generic enough that it could be used by all sorts of companies, so they began designing. They named the result Teamwork Project Manager, nicknamed TeamworkPM, and launched the product in October 2007. Their flagship product was renamed in March 2015 to Teamwork Projects with the launch of Teamwork Desk. Teamwork.com was named by Gartner to be one of their Cool Vendors 2015 in the Program and Portfolio Management Category.
Products
Teamwork.com offers a suite of cloud-based applications: Teamwork Projects, Teamwork Desk, and Teamwork Chat.
Their flagship product Teamwork Projects features to-do lists, milestone management, web-based text documents, file sharing, time tracking, and a messaging system.[3]
Teamwork Chat is a community conversation application which allows its users to create conversation rooms to organise discussions.
Teamwork Desk is geared toward customer support tickets and includes unified inboxes, assigning tickets, ticket status, and integration with Teamwork Projects.
There is also the Teamwork Timer, which tracks time to tasks and projects. All projects work on Windows and Macs.
