TheTechnological Educational Institute of Central Greece (TEISTE; Greek: Τεχνολογικό Εκπαιδευτικό Ίδρυμα Στερεάς Ελλάδας) is a Greek higher-educational institute founded in 2013.

History

The Technological Educational Institute of Chalkida (TEIHAL; Greek: Τεχνολογικό Εκπαιδευτικό Ίδρυμα Χαλκίδας) was a Greek higher-educational institute, founded in 1983. From 1986 to 2013 it was located in Psachna, Euboea near to the city of Chalkida. It comprised two schools: the School of Technological Applications and the School of Management and Finance.

Located in Lamia, the Technological Educational Institute of Lamia (TEILAM; Greek: Τεχνολογικό Εκπαιδευτικό Ίδρυμα Λαμίας) was founded in 1994 to provide higher technological education to the students of Greece.

It was composed of the following two Faculties:

Department of Electronics Engineering
Department of Electrical Engineering
Department of Information Technology
Department of Nursing
Department of Physiotherapy

The Technological Educational Institute of Lamia was separated from the Technological Educational Institute of Larisa in 1994. They were merged again in 2013 to form the Technological Educational Institute of Central Greece.
