Teen Titans: Earth One is a graphic novel published by DC Comics that was released on November 19, 2014.[1] A part of the Earth One line, the book was written by Jeff Lemire, penciled by Terry Dodson and inked by Rachel Dodson and Cam Smith.

Plot

A spaceship crashes on earth with one baby alien (Starfire), who is found and taken in by STAR labs. Many years later, four teenagers are shown attending a high school in Monument, Oregon. On the first day of school, Terra and her single mother meet her boyfriend Victor "Vic" Stone and his mother, Ms. Stone (one of the teachers), and two new students named Garfield "Gar" Logan and Joseph Wilson. After at school Victor Stone skin became hard as metal, and, later, Terra's anger starts to shake the world.

STAR Labs

STAR labs is an organization that found Starfire as an infant years ago. Using elements found at the crash site, they injected 10 children giving them abilities. Among them also include Tempest.

Reception

IGN gave the title a positive review, stating that "the book offers a clever, cohesive overhaul of the franchise and is the first Titans comic in a while to try new and interesting things."[2] It has made into #5 on The New York Times' Hardcover Graphic Books Best Seller List.[3]
