Teen Titans: Earth One is a graphic novel published by DC Comics that was released on November 19, 2014.[1] A part of the Earth One line, the book was written by Jeff Lemire, penciled by Terry Dodson and inked by Rachel Dodson and Cam Smith.
Plot
A spaceship crashes on earth with one baby alien (Starfire), who is found and taken in by STAR labs. Many years later, four teenagers are shown attending a high school in Monument, Oregon. On the first day of school, Terra and her single mother meet her boyfriend Victor "Vic" Stone and his mother, Ms. Stone (one of the teachers), and two new students named Garfield "Gar" Logan and Joseph Wilson. After at school Victor Stone skin became hard as metal, and, later, Terra's anger starts to shake the world.

- Victor "Vic" Stone - Cyborg Tera's boyfriend, a boy who was given elements from Starfire's ship. His body is slowly being covered with liquid metal, giving him the appearance of his mainstream counterpart.
- Garfield Mark "Gar" Logan A Freshman who jumped two grades. His homosexual fathers loved him as much as any other parent would, and he would do anything for them. After his powers manifest, he becomes a green humanoid hybrid of whatever animal he's come in contact with.
- Terra Markov A troubled girl with the ability to control the earth around her. Tera's short tempered, smokes, and dates Victor.
- Starfire The alien found by STAR labs as an infant who's elements were injected into the others as a infant. Their powers manifested because she went through puberty. The only English she knows is "Am Starfire, Need Help."
- Raven Raven herself doesn't physically appear before the others. She lived on an Indian Reservation with her Grandfather in New Mexico, who helps her discover her powers.
STAR Labs
STAR labs is an organization that found Starfire as an infant years ago. Using elements found at the crash site, they injected 10 children giving them abilities. Among them also include Tempest.
- Dr. Elinore Stone: Victor's mother and the main antagonist of the book. She commissioned Projects Titan, Starfire, and Blackfire. She only cares for the results of the mission and nothing more, going as far as willing to kill any member of STAR LABS to do so.
- Slade Wilson/ Deathstroke Joey's father, and STAR Labs enforcer. He is shown to be a two eyed gentle soul, as opposed to his mainstream counterpart. His strength comes from a battle armor he wears.
- Joey Wilson/Jericho: Another member of Project Titans with the ability to leave his body to possess others. It is revealed that Dr. Stone manipulated him with hypnosis.
- Rita Markov: Tera's foster mother. She takes on the appearance of a drunken woman. Her husband tried to back off the project, only to be killed years ago.
Reception
IGN gave the title a positive review, stating that "the book offers a clever, cohesive overhaul of the franchise and is the first Titans comic in a while to try new and interesting things."[2] It has made into #5 on The New York Times' Hardcover Graphic Books Best Seller List.[3]
