Tegotherium is an extinct mammal from the Jurassic of Mongolia.[1] It belongs to the order Docodonta, but the original authors placed it in its own family, the Tegotheriidae. In Mammals from the age of dinosaurs,[2] the most commonly referenced academic work on Mesozoic mammals, Tegotherium is placed in Docodonta.
