Televés SA is a global company in the design, development and manufacture of systems and products associated with telecommunications services for the home, and specialized in the reception and broadcast of the radio-television signal. Televes headquarters are located in Santiago de Compostela (Spain), where the company was founded in 1958. At present, Televes is the head of a corporation of technological firms with a commercial presence in over 80 countries. It has 20 industrial and services subsidiaries, over 740 employees and 53 world patents. The turnover of the Televes Corporation in 2011 reached 188.4 million euros, with a cash flow of 14.5 million. In its fifty years of life, Televes has launched over 1,500 products onto the market. Most of these are related to analogue and digital terrestrial television; satellite and cable television; mobile and high definition television; signal measurement equipment and telecommunications services for the home. The company has more than 4,000 customers with a very varied profile. From manufacturers of white and brown line goods, to department stores, as well as telecommunications installers, electrical material distributors, television operators, and engineering companies.[1]

At the beginning, as a pioneering company in the production of equipment to receive the radio-television signal, Televes was forced to develop and manufacture most of the components of its products. Controlling the entire production process on its home turf, from the design to the manufacture, enables the company to develop the products more swiftly and with greater guarantees of quality and reliability, as well as protecting the intellectual capital developed. The department of Methods and Organization is responsible for developing and introducing manufacturing processes.
Multinational structure
Televes Corporation currently has productive means in Spain and Portugal and also has subsidiaries in France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy, Poland, the United States, China and the Arab Emirates. The structure of strategic bases enables Televes Corporation to reach the more than 80 national markets in which the corporation has a commercial presence.
