Telphusa xyloptera is a moth of the Gelechiidae family. It is found in Uganda.[1][2]
The wingspan is about 16 mm. The forewings are pale ochreous, irregularly suffused reddish-brown and sprinkled dark grey. The markings are suffused dark fuscous, sprinkled blackish. There is a small spot on the base of the costa, and a very oblique pointed fasciate streak from the costa near the base to the fold. An ill-defined subtriangular costal patch extends from about one-fourth to two-thirds and reaches half across the wing. There is an irregular streak from the dorsum before the tornus along the termen to the apex, widest at the apex. The hindwings are grey.[3]
