Tempe Pigott (2 February 1884 – 6 October 1962) was a silent and sound screen character actress. She had some stage experience before entering silent films as she is given one 1918 Broadway credit by Internet Broadway Database. Her silent and sound film appearances were numerous. She is remembered mainly for playing the mother of Gibson Gowland in Greed (1925) and the landlady Mrs. Hawkins in Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (1931). She was born in London, England and died in Woodland Hills, California, USA.[1]
