State Route 394 (SR-394) is a west-east state highway in Sullivan County, Tennessee. It serves as southern bypass of Bristol and as a connector route from Interstate 81 (I-81) to Bristol Motor Speedway.
Route description
It begins at U.S. Route 11W (US-11W) and SR-1 north of Blountville it heads south toward Blountville just inside the Blountville corporate limits SR-394 junctions with I-81 and continues south to downtown Blountville and through a heavily congested area to junction with SR-126. After this junction it turns east through a retail area. It then passes the former Exide Technologies and has an interchange with US-11E and US-19. Just past this junction, it immediately junctions with SR-390. It then passes Bristol Motor Speedway and Bristol Dragway, and then SR-394 turns more northeasterly to have a partial interchange with SR-358. SR-394 ends at US 421 and SR-34 in Bristol as the roadway continues east as SR-435 northward.
