Terrorizer LA is an American grindcore and death metal[1][2][3] band formed in 1987 in Los Angeles, California.

Biography

The group released its inaugural album, World Downfall, in 1989. It is seen as one of the classics of early grindcore.[4] The band disbanded in 1989 prior to the release of "World Downfall" and original vocalist and songwriter, Oscar Garcia, went back to his previous band Nausea (disambiguation). An album containing two rehearsal sessions of the band from 1987 was released in 2003. An album of demos and rarities was released in 2015.

In 2014, the band was assembled at the behest of Jesse Pintado's sister to celebrate what would have been his 45th birthday. The band played most of the "World Downfall" album and then went on to play other festival appearances in Portland, Houston and across Europe playing that entire album.

"Before The Downfall," a collection of demos and unreleased material, was released by FOAD Records in 2015.
